Dr. Tara Boer, LISW

REGULATE THERAPY & BRAIN HEALTH CLINIC

Why this work?

Hundreds of stories of family problems, child abuse, assault, co-dependency, body image, addiction, anxiety, and depression surfaced in my 17 years as a social worker and practicing mental health therapist. Children and families have allowed me to be a part of their healing stories for many years and I am changed because of it.

Now I’m married to a good man and parenting three beautiful girls and a sweet little boy, I am learning first hand how rewarding and how hard this journey can be.

I was raised by a family and community who taught me my worth and validated my interests. There were so many that invested in me and encouraged me to keep my eyes up and feet moving forward.

I get to see people get well, work through the hard stuff, and live a happier life. It’s worth it for you and it’s worth it for me.

I am eager to serve the community and people that have invested so much in me.

I’ll bring you my best and you give me the hope you have left.
